Need help with wheel/tire sizing
New to Rangers and need help with Wheel/Tire size. I have a 2006 4x4 xtra cab. The only suspension mod is a leveling kit on the front. I'd like to use 20" wheels. I already have a new set of 275-55-20 Goodyear Wranglers that I'd like to use.
Please let me know if this set up will fit and I'd like to see some pictures of trucks with similar 20" wheel packages.

That is about a 32x11" tire, so it should fit just fine.
Good luck finding pictures of 20s on a ranger. Not a lot of guys run wheels that large (and there's a reason for it, IMO)

Re: Need help with wheel/tire sizing
Height wise the tire is 31.5 inchs so it will fit, it will depend on your rim offset and backspacing of your rims

Re: Need help with wheel/tire sizing
I run a nearly identical over all size tire on my truck. 8 wide 4" of backspacing and it fits just fine.

IME the reason is: low profile tires do NOT work well off road.

Re: Need help with wheel/tire sizing
I don't expect anyone with 20" wheels is planning to spend much time off road.

Re: Need help with wheel/tire sizing
Take A Look At My Ranger Pics I Was Running 275/45/20's On 20x8.5 Rims With 10mm Offset, My Trucks Suspension was all stock and had no rubbing or anything. I No Longer Run Them I Have Ordered a new combo 15x8 -19mm offset with 31/10.5/15

Re: Need help with wheel/tire sizing
I'm also new with rangers, and I saw the tire sizing chart on herebut some of the numbers didn't make sense so I didn't know how to pick out which one was mine. I have a 2006 Sport 4x2 I've basically maxed out t bars so it's level and looking at what is he max tire size and such I can get with minimal rubbing. I'm fine with a little trimming but I just want it to also look good. I'm looking at buying just a rim and tire combo from somewhere. Don't like big rims I want more tire👍🏼 And negative offset . Whatever y'all can tell me would be very help full. Thanks

I'm pretty sure that i had leveled it before this pic but I don't remember

You can go through a couple screens and put your vehicle info in and it will pull that info into box 1 for comparison purposes. You can then play with tire sizes, offsets, wheel size and not only do you get some pretty interesting information on trimming, rubbing, wheel and tire placement in comparison to the stock specs. You can literally see the differences in wheel and tire size in EVERY aspect ratio possible.
have fun
