One of my stock rims are bent pretty bad so I bought some aftermarket rims with I was told would be a direct fit but local tire shop said I need hub centric rings I've never heard of them do they come in different sizes or how do you figure out how to get the right one

====================
What kinda rims did you buy & were they for your application?
BOMK hub centric means that the wheel is held tight by the hub and the lug nuts only hold it in place. Ranger lug nuts are beveled so the lug nuts hold the wheel tight.
You measure the outer diameter of your hub, and the inner diameter of the wheel, and you get the appropriate sized rings. Get metal ones, the fiberglass ones are crap: http://amzn.to/2op4u8j
