Default TPMS light not illuminating

So I ran the instrument cluster test that illuminates all the lights and only one didn't come on, the TPMS light. This is an LED bulb that cannot be replaced. I know my truck has TPMS sensors because I saw them when having my tires replaced. I aired down a tire to see if it'll illuminate and nothing lit on the gauge cluster. Is there any way to know if something else is wrong with the TPMS system or if it's just the bulb itself?

Well, you'll find out when you pick up a nail.

But seriously you should have the system and if there's a fault in the system the light will flash. Maybe for some reason the bulb won't illuminate due to some kind of connection issue. It's in the cluster circuitry.

Mine comes on with the key on and goes off with the other warning lights after a few seconds.

Possible solution?

Go to a junk yard or search the internet for a 2005-2011 cluster with a very close number of miles on the ODO and plug it in to see if all the lights work. If it works then your old one is probably no good.

And since you have everything apart and the new one plugged in, why not put it back together?

Yeah mine doesn't come on with the key. I wonder if there's a way to reset it or something like that.

Sounds like a connection issue. You didn't disable it with your tuner by chance did you?

No I didn't. The system is set at stock right now because I thought that could have something to do with it. So either it's an issue with the cluster itself or the entire TPMS system is inactive is my only assumption.

Check for codes using an upper end scan tool or FORScan on your android phone/lappy with windoze as the OS and and ELM 327 adapter in the OBDII port. Must be an upper end scan tool capable of pulling the extended codes, not just OBDII codes.
