Re: 235/75 vs 31/10.50 on 15x10
thanks for posting this. I am actually considering 235's on a 10 wide here soon. Is there any dangers of running a slightly stretched tire like that?

Yes, if your tire pressure gets low, it can fall off the rim/fall off the bead. Running stretched tires is not smart. you want your tire 2" wider than your wheel, so the side wall is at a 90degree from the tread. that is the way they are designed to be used.

Besides looking retarded, stretching tires increases the chances of popping a bead, can cause improper wear patterns in the tread, and will void any warranty on the tires (either from the seller or manufacturer)

Just sayin>>>>
There is a class of Drag Racing down here that runs 275/60R15 Drag Radials on 15x12 wheels. Have to be mounted with butane to get them to pop that far, but it's done.
I personally know a guy that runs & wins in that class with a 68 Camaro that runs 4.70's in the 1/8th.
I know those cars aren't turnin corners or on winding roads, but just sayin that it can be done.

Sometimes I think to myself, "I could start doing meth, but then I'm like nah, better not."

Just because it can be done, doesnt mean it should be.
this is stupid, ugly, and pointless. But good job OP.

WTF does bein a "Meth Head" have to do with my referencing to a MRA series FACT?
If your not into drag racin or neive to the classes, and if ya ain't gotta clue to what I referenced to, why post negativity about it?
The OP was askin bout stretchin a tire, that's what my post refernced to, plain & simple!

It's a quote from a movie, hence the quotation marks. Saying "sure I could do something stupid, but I probably better not "
