Default Tire size

Biggest tire size I can go on 87 2.3L 2WD(rear)? Stock, NO body/suspension lift on it (yet).

original tire size was 205/70/14. if your suspension is good. no sag. 235/75/15 should fit. according to sticky 31 inch tire is possible. good luck

Would this be recommended? Has anyone done this and experienced a drag of power or gas mileage that isn't worth it? Also anyone have any pictures ? Thinking I might stick with 30" but still not sure if good idea, feel free to input opinion

What is your axle gearing? A four banger with 31's should have a 4.56 behind it. You likely have a 4.10 or 3.73 (depending on if youre a reg cab or extended)

Youre probably fine with 30's at a 4.10

It's a single cab , I'm not sure what axle gearing though? On my door jam the sticker shows "Axle 84" which could maybe mean 3.84? No clue. But overall if I had to guess I'd say it's probably 3.73 but no clue. It currently has 205/75R14 which is about a 26? How do you guys think it'd handle a 30?

Its a open 7.5" 3.45 I'd say you shouldn't go much bigger.

I wouldn't do 30's. Thing would be a sloth. Gas mileage would be junk and a 30 might be too big for a 7.5". Better chances of toasting an axle.

I have a 4.10 8.8" Ill sell you haha. You could do 30's with that.
