Default Thinking about Cooper Discoverer AST II

Thinking of shooting my Wrangler RT/S (which suck) & getting Cooper Discoverer AST II in same size, 255-70-16. I really like the tread design. I do not go off road but do get some heavy snow & lots of rain. Mostly freeway, local roads, & just a bit of city. Does the forum have any comments or experience with there tires ? Price matters & I'm hoping I can get Discount Tire to go $110 each. Tried to attach an image but it didn't work. Google it, please.
Thanks.

I swear by Cooper tires. Running the S/Ts right now, and never buy any other tire for my truck. I've been preaching Coopers, but everyone's still hung up on BFGs.

Those look good. Cooper makes really reliable tires too, so go for it bro!

Don't know about the AST II's but ATR's have poor wet road traction. I never realized how bad they were until my AWD was out of commission for a while on my CR-V. They spun quite easily with only a four banger and the CR-V is similar in weight to the Ranger.

Now I've been told by Discount Tire the AST II tires have been discontinued by Cooper. So I am no planning on the Dunlop Radial Rover RVXT. See my other recent post about them. Thanks to all that have responded.
