Default 14 inch rim tire?

I'm interested in getting some bigger tires and possibly a body lift (if needed) for my ranger. I have a 99, and it has the 14 inch rim size. I really don't want to buy 15 inch rims, because I want to put the money into the tires and maybe a lift.

I've been looking on the internet for some bigger 14 inch tires, but I'm not having any luck of anything bigger than like a 225/14. I was thinking of more in the 31" range...

Any help? or if anyone has done this sort of thing before?

Sorry if there was already a thread about this and I missed it..

Right now my suspension and everything is stock, and my current tire size is 205/75/14. Not exactly the look I'm going for..

i had 14 on my ranger and there are only about 6 tire options

i recomend finding some used 15 inch ranger rims or 16 inch explorer rims if you really want tire choices

225/70R14 is a big as they get and like stated above, the options are limited. You will need to get a bigger rim to get more choices.

I ran 245/60r14's on my 96. they were about the same height as stock, but were wider. I eventually got some 15" wheels and ran 235/75r15's till i sold it.
