Maxtrac spindle lift rims and tires setup
Im looking at installing a maxtrac 4 inch spindle lift and need some advice on what tires and rims i should run. I would like to go with a nice 16 inch rim and possibly 33's but cannot find one with the 3.75 backspacing. Is there anyway that a rim with 4.5 backspacing would work with this lift? Any information helps. Thanks in advance.

what width of 33's are you thinking of running? I'm sure how far you can go in but I know that narrower tires will make it better, there is no way you will get 12.50 wide on there but maybe less I'm not sure, my 33x12.50 r15 just barely rub with 3.75 backspacing

Re: Maxtrac spindle lift rims and tires setup
I was hoping to run 33x10.5 but the more im looking that doesnt give me too many options. I have an 03 Mazda b3000 dual sport and it will clear 31's stock so i just dont know how well it will look with the lift and 31's.

It would look alright with 31's but definitely better with 33's. I would think 10.50 would clear but I'm not totally sure, if you can find ones you like in that size of course

I am not familiar with the Mazda trucks.....do you have torsion bars or coil springs? 33x10.5 does limit you down to only a few choices.
If you have torsion bars, here is a pic of my Edge after the spindle install with 33x10.5x15's on 15x7 wheels with 4" of b.s.

If I'm not mistaken, the dual sport is a torsion bar truck, so it should sit as tall as a 4x4 ranger would. If that's the case, then you shouldn't have any issue clearing 33x11.5 or 33x12.5 tires with 4" of lift.
