Default 30x9.5x15 on stock suspension

I have a 1995 Ford Ranger XLT Super cab V6 3.0L 2wd.

I wanted to know If I could put 30x9.5x15 BFG's mud Terranes on my truck with stock suspension with out rubbing or steering lock up.

Thanks,

From http://www.fordrangerforum.com/wheel...tire-size.html

Quote:
93-97 (Consult before adding tires, this is the tricky year)(may also need lift in rear depending on spring sag)

4x4 & 2WD (The 2wd and 4x4 front springs are same length and the shocks also.)

* 15x7 stock suspension - 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15(may need to trim valance a little, if major spring sag wont fit)

* 16x7 stock suspension - 235x60x16, 235x75x16, 245x75x16(slight chance of trimming)
So yes.

no, they wont fit. 2wd and 4wd do use different springs. My dad has a 95 ext cab 2wd, it BARELY cleared 235's ~ 28" We had to install the 2" leveling blocks to get it up high enough. Maybe on 98+ they might be the same. This is coming from actual physically looking and fitting the tire on. They did "fit" but rubbed over ever bump and grabed the fender until the 2" was put on.

----------

also, you have 14's or 15's?

I have 15 in stock rims and the only suspension work I have done is installed Rancho RS 5000. And the RS are stock shocks.

Well, it looks like I should be picking up some 15" rims with BFG All Terrain T/A KO's for a trade of some subs & amp. I had the speakers from my old car, and my ranger came with 2 subs installed. I'm going to let the guy pick which set he wants, it really doesn't matter to me. They aren't huge, I believe 235's but I'm not sure. I tried to read the size on the picture he sent me (they aren't at his house, so he couldn't give me the size), but much better than my 14's that are balding...
