Default 31, 32 or 33?

Ok first off, let's get this out of the way:

Quote:
XLT 4X4, FX4, Level II, EDGE 2wd & 4X4(Sport newer models)(mild T-bar crank always recommended for leveling purposes, always remember to get an alignment)

* 15x7 stock suspension - 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15, 32x11.5x15, 33x10.5x15(T-bar crank recommended), 33x12.5x15(will need trimming and T-Bar crank)
My truck is a 2010 Sport 2wd, and it's slightly lower when it comes to ground clearance than a 2010 4x4 Sport (6.7 vs 7.4"), so i wondered if it translated to wheel space also.

What i basically want to know is; i want much bigger tires than my puny 235s, are 31s the max i can get with a t-bar job? Are 32s going to have enough space to travel offroad (not hardcore of course)?

Or am i lucky enough to be able to fit 33 inches without having to resort to a body lift/suspension lift?

I know Tyler has a 01 with 33's and no lift

The 2010 you may have to crank t-bars and do the pre key mod to get the height to fit 33's

Pre Key mod is taking out the key and replacing it with one from a pre 2008 ranger

When i asked the dealership's service manager, he told me i could crank it 2" safely under warranty. Think that would be enough?

33s on the older setup are a tight fit. My 32s sometimes rub when offroading (usually it's avoidable, eg: turning over a dip) so I can't imagine how 33s would be on your lower truck. I would just slap the 32s on and do your 2" t-bar crank.

Smakes does bring up an interesting point... you can fit a much larger tire without having to resort to a body lift/suspension lift with the help of this beautiful tool:

Smakes makes an interesting point, and if the wheels i had on my car were the right bolt pattern, i'd offer them to tiny tires guy.

Bottom line is i don't necessarely want the biggest tires, i want a little more clearance and much wider.

i would say 32x11.5 is the biggest your gonna get. i have 33x11.5 on my 2007 4x4 which is gonna be alot higher from the factory than ur 2010 2wd and there a verrry tight fit... i honestly don't know how they dont rub so i think 32 is your biggest option.
