Default Another tire / wheel question....

I have a brand new 2010 Ranger XL (4X2) with 2.3 and a 5 speed. The chart tells me that the setup I have is good for power and I would see more fuel economy with larger tires. I don't care for the looks of the stock 15X7" wheels as they "look" undersized and am considering going to a larger tire or a larger rim. I do believe the larger rim either 16 inch or larger would look better proportioned to the truck. In your opinion would I be wise to do either? Would this void warranty? Would I see improved fuel economy? I have been reading a lot of posts here and haven't seen an answer to this. Thanks, Dave

Fuel economy would stay same if you went with 16" rim and same size tire. Im guessing you probably have 235/75/15 now so if ya went with 245/75/16 you would be okay

Wouldn't void the warranty SEE THIS POST

16" tires cost more then 15" tires.

It came with 225/70R15's. I would gain two sizes if I went to 235/75R15's but 16 or18 inch rims would look good too. You are right....$$$$$ does count.
