Brake repair - only whats needed or MORE!
So my Ranger project started with the rear brake lines needing replaced, and given I'm working in my dirt driveway led to taking the bed off to make life easy (SO glad I did that), which is leading to a bit of frame restoration etc...
But back to the brakes. Only the lines are bad (that I know of) but I have the money to do a complete replacement of all rotors, drums, cylinders, calipers, pads, the works.
It's going on 25 years old and appears to be all original factory parts. Normally I wouldn't fix it till it cracks but I don't want to be doing a half dozen brake jobs so...
Fix only what is needed or replace/upgrade the entire system?
Thoughts?
