Personally, the thread on the MTR looks funky to me. It's my understanding the MTR has a much stronger sidewall when compared to the KM2s though.

Done.

I'm a fan of the 'If it ain't broken, don't fix it' mentality.

Tough choice though, never heard negative feedback on the MT/R, just don't care for the tread myself.

I'd like to try the Rockers out. I've been hearing them come up in tire conversations a lot lately.

with my experience between the two brands, i would choose the BFG's over the goodyears. i havent owned the MTR but ive had bad experiences with every other goodyear tire ive owned. they all have worn terribly, deteriorated and cracked prematurely and rode bad. that said, ive loved every set of BFG's ive owned. ive had 3 different sets of the BFG AT's on my trucks over the years, i put a set of long trails on my wifes blazer and im currently running the KM2's on my ranger and i cant say anything bad about them. from what ive read and heard from others, performance wise the MTR's and the KM2's stack up pretty close so i would get the ones that you think look the best. just my 2 penny's.

agreed on other goodyears tires. I've haven't ever been impressed with them but the mt/r's are a different level and good. You won't be disappointed in either one of the two

oh and rockers only come in 35" and bigger

oooff, well guess I'll cross that bridge when the money tree in the backyard starts to fruit. suspension lift kit, body lift, gears, etc etc, I'm not quite ready for all that.

I think the 33's for now will be as daring as my pocket can handle lol

KM2 i love mine. the look, the sound, and how they ride. mine are smooth in road and off road. they are muds worst nightmare when it comes to quite road tires

From the sites I checked, all they had in a 33'' Rocker was 13.50.
