if you look at the specs of "some" tires when you look at 245/75/16 they say the diameter is 30.5" and if you look at 31x10.5x15 its the same 30.5" but when looking at 33" tires the dimensions are really around 32.5" and 265/75/16 are really 31.7" so yes we are both correct in a way..but tire shops consider 30.5" tires actually 31"s they just round up

On a side note my edge is suggested at 235/70/16 (29 x skinny) What a joke of a tire to put on a truck.

ya lol, b/c when i put my new 31's up next to my stock tires, the stock tires were about an inch smaller. but dumb argument lol. ive always hated metric sizes, i wish all tires just said the dimensions in inches!

it would make it a whole bunch easier...but all tires are different some 31"s will look taller than others but not by much

Thanks again everyone. So many good suggestions. I'm leaning toward 32" tires on my 16'' rims but am still open to any other recommendations and, would really appreciate pictures.

Here is a cool little tool to use for tire size in the future if you need it. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
x2. 3" body lift & 33s look great.

Well, I've been shopping tire prices but am still confused about sizes. I've been asked aspect ratios and other things that I have no clue about. As mentioned before, I am runnin P245 / 75R16. In very simple terms, so I don't get ripped off, what numbers should I look for when shopping for 32 or 33 all terrains on the existing 16" rims? Thanks for your patience with me.....

I think these are the range you want to stay in. Not exact conversions but....

285/75/16 ~ 32x11.50

295/75/16 ~ 33x11.50

305/70/16 ~ 33x12.00
