Your 3.0 won't handle them well
the axle may not hold up (if it is the 7) it may hold up (if it is the 8.8)
You will need to re gear (most likely)

Follow link I provided, 1st video shows how to figure out the ratio.

Oh, and just my thought, you are looking to do this on the "cheep". ANY over-sized tire on ANY vehicle will cost more $$ out of the gate. Furthermore, ANY oversize tire will cause parts to wear out faster. Have to pay to play.

The 8.8 would hold up to it, but he would have to regear.
