hey guys, i have some rims on my truck and i want to get some black rims for it and i dont want to spend the money one them. just wanted to know if i could paint them. i was looking threw threads and saw that some one looked like they did paint them and i though it looked good. the first to pics are of my truck

Find some aluminum paint, then it should work.

like aluminum black paint?

If you post a better side shot of your truck I can photoshop them for you. The angle you have posted has a lot of shadow on your wheels so they will become almost unnoticeable when you turn them black....

yeah because im 99% positive those are aluminum. Sand up the rims a little and spray on a paint that works with aluminum, you may also want a clear coat too.

i know the pics arent good but its in the carport/boat holder thing/shed. and the sun is shineing on it and has some glares but the rims are what u guys want and thats what ill give u

I'd go with gunmetal, black wheels on very bright paints tent to erase the wheels from view (does that make sense to anyone but me?).

I saw some uber cool gunmetal wheels that had reflective properties at night, but they didn't fit my car's colour back then...

I suck at pshop.

I tried to make them darker but they are so shiny it makes them look awful.
