Default Brake system making shuttering sound

I have a 2002 ranger 3.0l v6 2wd. I just replaced the front rotors and pads. Now, randomly, when I brake sometimes I hear a shuttering sound coming from the firewall, kinda like it's from the master cylinder. When it makes the sound I also feel it in the brake pedal and a little in the steering column. The best way to describe the sound is like a hollow metallic rattle. Help?

check to make sure your caliper bolts are tight and your wheel bearing, tie rods and ball joints

All has been done. The ball joints are all brand new and tie rods are in good shape. Calipers are tight along with the mount bracket for them.

Bad control arm bushing?

When you pull the wheel off can you move the rotor side to side?

Everything is tight and squared away. It only started happening after I replaced the rotors and pads. The pads are leaving a clean and even wear mark so I know they are grabbing good.

Have you tried bleeding the brakes? If there were air in the lines it could compress/uncompress leading to vibration.

That's what I thought, However, It didn't do this before the upgrade. I went ahead and did it anyway earlier today(full system bleed and re-pressured). No change.

Some brake pad brands are cambered so the front is lower than the back and makes the brake touch better. I've had ones that shuttered in the beginning and it took some time for the pads to naturally wear before it stopped. Hopefully it something that simple?

I didn't know that. That would be nice. I just hope it isn't actually the MC. I'd hate to have to go though that replacement process.

I think I have the same issue sometimes. Usually under hard braking. There's a ticking noise that only lasts a few seconds. Sounds like it's coming from around the instrument cluster. I don't think it has affected the braking any, and everything is pretty much new and well installed so idk...
