Re: New rims - Steel or Aluminum?
forged aluminum. they are strong and light. If you are doing serious offroading I would also suggest beadlocks

Be warned though, most beadlocks are not d.o.t legal for on highway use.

Re: New rims - Steel or Aluminum?
If off roading a lot, steel. If just for street use, aluminum. If your original wheels are steel and you live in the snow belt, get a set of winter tires installed on them to save your aluminum wheels from the salt and slop.

Re: New rims - Steel or Aluminum?
Forged aluminum, best you can get. Stronger and lighter than steel.
