I have had both. Enjoy 10" for look and also the tires wear better on 10's. did not like my 8's

I have a 98 ranger with 3 inch body lift and 32x11.50s on 15x8. How far would a 15x10 with -43 offset and 33x12.50s stick out?

What is the backspacing on your current wheels?

If your current 8" wide wheels have a backspacing of 3.75" (-19mm offset) then the 10" wide wheel that has a backspacing of 3.75" (-44mm offset) would stick the full 2" further out (talking wheel position only).

However, if your current 8" wide wheels have a backspacing of 4.50" (0mm offset) then the 10" wide wheel that has a backspacing of 3.75" (-44mm offset) would stick 2.75" further out (talking wheel position only).

As for how much further out the tire would be - well, that's simple - it's overall width is just centered over the given wheel. So if you go up in tire width by 1" - the tire itself would be .5" further 'inboard' & 'outboard' for a given wheel width.

As you see, it really depends on what you have now....
