Default 35/14.5/15 Boggers

I have a chance to get some 35/14.5/15 Boggers for a good price but I'm kind of leary about getting that wide of a tire. I've figured that it would be 18 more lbs per tire/wheel after I get some 15x10's compared to my current setup. I could buy some aluminum wheels instead of steel to help with the weight but if I bought some fancy wheels that would defeat the purpose of my good deal.

I think that would be pretty hard on the IFS but it would look sweet haha

Any thoughts?

Do it!!! i've got a buddy running them on his bII and they're fucking sick. havent seen the truck in months since he hydrolocked the motor, but if you're gearing is fine then the rest of the truck will be able to handle it fine.

they will look awesome on there by the way.

I'm really considering it. I've only got 4.10's but I don't drive it daily so it is really not an issue right now.

Then I'm wondering if I could run a 15x8 instead of 15x10 but I think that is pushing it too much

you'll be able to pull it just fine with 4:10's, needless to say you'll lose some torque though.lol

there's no way in hell you'll be able to safely run those 14.5 inch boggers on a 15x8 wheel. I mounted the 35's on my friends bronco when he got them and they were a PITA to mount on a 15x10, but they looked right and were safe.. its amazing what an extra 2 inches will do. <<<(i'll go ahead and throw in the "thats what she said" here)

I've seen them run on 15x8 but it is sucked in like a mofo. If I get them I have to get new wheels anyway so I would buy 15x10's

My thoughts exactly. IMHO it would look super beasty, but you're truck will hate you for it.
