Re: Can I run 33s with 4:10 gearing?
I'm assuming you have the 4.0? If so, then yes with the appropriate lift.

Yes, I do, every day. Fuel mileage isn't great, but whatever.

Re: Can I run 33s with 4:10 gearing?
I ran them with that setup for a month or so. They fit, but turns were sketchy. Had to trim the valence because there was no way they were turning and not taking the valence with them.
Oh, and don't expect to flex it out, especially on turns.

Re: Can I run 33s with 4:10 gearing?
Yeah they're going to be stuffed, but it should fit. Expect drop in gas mileage and some power off the line, all around though you should be good.

Yeah I feel like the back should be totally fine. Given that most Rangers sit face down, ass up. What did you do to get the front up?
PS.. there is no way I will do keys.

Thanks for all yalls input too!

Re: Can I run 33s with 4:10 gearing?
I personally ran cranked #1 Torsion Bars. Not maxed out, but only about 1/4 of the bolt was left.
Since you have an early "Level II", you already have #1 T-bars. So all you need to do is crank them and you'll be where I was at. Unless they're worn out of course.

Re: Can I run 33s with 4:10 gearing?
I run 33x12.50x15 with 4:10s in my 3.0 with keys and shackels. Had to trim the valance but does alright. Mpg sucks like always though. And no power but it is a 3.0. Lol

Well 33s with 4.10s won't be too too bad it just depends if you got the standard or auto tranny and if you got the 3.0 or 4.0, if you got the auto with either the 3.0 or 4.0 on 33s its gonna be a dog off the line and a pig on gas. If its a standard tranny with 3.0 or 4.0 you'll definitely feel the difference with the 33s but won't be as much as a dog as the auto. If its the auto, you might wanna consider a re-gear, but if you got the standard you'll proly be alright.

I didn't want to start a new thread so I figure I'd ask it here. Would 31 with 3.55 gears on 4.0 be bad? Or how about 30?

Should be fine. No matter what change it won't be the same as what it comes stock. You'll loose some bottom end. I'm gonna be running 33s on 15x10 with 4.10 and a 2.3 auto (livin life on the wild side)

Lol that's gonna be a fun ride haha. I notice a diff with my 4.0 5spd with 4.10s when I put 32's on. But at least your aware of the change that will happen. Most people aren't and then complain lol.

I know the difference lol I changed from 3.73 to 4.10 with my 31s I'm gonna see how bad it is with 4.10 and I'm gonna swap in 4.56.

I do and its fine. You will have rub and may have to trim corner of bumper and fender flare.
