Default New wheel and tire combo

Im posting a new thread, I didnt get any replys to the other one but it wasn't a very good and clear post. Basically wanting new rims for my 06 extended cab 4x4. stock as of right now and I dont plan on lifting it for about a year and a half so I was going to get the rims I wanted and just buy new tires to fit it when I get the superlift in year and a half. I need help deciding either 15x8 or 15x10. I figured most would say the 15x10 especially when I go to lift it but I was just making sure that 15x10 would work stock. also I need help deciding between 2 rims, either the eagle alloy series 186 ................. or the eagle alloy series 187

I think I like the 187 series better but for most of the websites I have searched on to look at prices they seem to always have the 186 series but never the 187 series in polished. Idk if maybe this is discountinued or something like that but I was just wanting your alls opinion on which to get. thanks, Zach.

I would suggest the 15x8. To get an idea checkout my avatar, I have 32x11.50R15 BFG A/Ts on Mickey Thompson Classic II 15x8s.

thanks for the info guys, hey TOM, is your truck just stock height, by which I mean the set up your running could fit fine on mine without any sort of lift. Im still trying to decide on 15x8 or 15x10, I know 15x10 does look alittle better with the wider stance after its lifted but as a stock level truck most seem to agree that it sticks out alil to far just for stock. but when you go 15x10 you can't run as big of a tire because of the side bit can rub so im still trying to decide. grrr so many decisions. I guess I could always just throw some good tires on my stock 15's and just save the money and buy rims once I lift it next year. Also I have the 15 alloy wheels stock, are all the stock rims 7 inches wide.

Right now you can get Summit's version of Mickey Thompson Classics for 85 dollars apiece in a 15x8. id get those if I were you

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-164-5865P/

Im thinking opf going to these if I can ever get my Alcoas sold. Then if I were you, id put some BFG A/Ts or some GY Duratracs in a 32x11.50

I went wth 15x8 for wheel size [American Racing] 4" back space has plenty of clearance. Tires are 235x70R15, plenty of front turning clearance.

yeah it does need tires bad, and those are good deal im totally tempted. but i want to run 15x10 when I finally lift it but like I said their alil too big to run a good tire for stock. so I might just add some bigger tires to my stock 15x7 and say f it and buy new rims and tires when I get the lift next year. I just dont see why I should pay 500 dollars just for the same size rim and only 1 inch wider. they are nice and I like them, and I hate the stock alloys but from a money standpoint I prolly shoudl just wait til I lift it and go all out for the 15x10's you know. I still got some thinkin to do tho I guess.

My truck has a torsion bar crank. I don't see you're signature with any truck specifications so I have no idea what kind of Ranger you have. Create a signature with your truck specs by going here: http://www.fordrangerforum.com/profi...=editsignature

i have a 06 supercab 4x4. also what would ual consider the best to use to crank the torsen bars? I tried today but the only rachet I have is the smaller 6 inch 1/2 drive ones and I couldnt get enough torque to turn them hardly at all.
