Default 2.3 liter 4.10 gears 31 inch tires MPG

Does anyone have this kind of setup? I know the 410s can hand 31s but im getting decent gas mileage right nowon stock tires. I want to know how much it'll change before actually going through with it

good question, I have a 2.3 with 4.10's and it reves high as all hell on the highway, cruising at like 65-70 is just under 4000 rpm in overdrive!

If you put larger wheels on it it will bring down the RPMS and actually increase mpg on the highway, But city driving will see a slight decrease in MPG because of the extra power it takes to move them from a stop.

What size tires are you running? I have a 2.3 Lima auto with 4.10 and 31. City I get around 14mpg I get 200 miles out of a tank. On the highway I do 70 at 2500rpm. And 80 at 3000rpm. I got 16-17 mpg with my 3.73 but the truck was a snail. The 4.10 did help a little. But I also have a lead foot. And I need to do a tune up and new o2 sensors so that doesn't help my mpg. You have a duratec from what your sig says, so you'll be good.
