Could try cutting around the edge of the tape. Like I said before I painted mine with actual paint so I never had that kind of problem. That's the only downside to plastidip. Its not the best for intricate stuff that needs more than one coat. I'm going to tape off and two tone my new AR Baja's but that's no where near as hard to do.

Just looked at your album and saw the new ones and they look good! Did you have duratracs before?

Thanks. The wheels were an awesome craislist find. $150 for all 4 and look like new.

No the tires were BFG MT's. I got them cheap off craigslist about a year ago. They looked good but were getting worn down and unbalanced.

The BFG's? They still do fine but they are only about 20 percent tread and are starting to ride rough like all mt's eventually do. The only reason I'm not still running them is because of winter setting in. On wet pavement they act as if your on ice. So there for I didn't feel like actually running them on ice.... Plus the ride is like a whole new truck with the new AT's. I'll probably keep the wheels and throw the tires on craigslist here before long.

----------

I wish I could afford a set of duratracs. But oh well. I'll get over it.

I got the idea for my rims from you actually flat out! But it was not easy, I did exactly what you said, really sharp knife and cut where the tape line was!

Make sure the knife is extremely sharp if you do! Plus do a lot of coats and make sure it's even, I think I'm going to switch mine up this year and go with the anthracite, haven't decided but I may do the face with anthracite and leave the black

Thanks. Nice to see somebody admiring my work. They were a pain in the butt to tape tho when I did mine.
