I was reading the trail info and I can't tell if it is open in May? Says June - Nov.

If anything there is another close by trail that is 2wd friendly as well.
FYI for everyone: plenty of notice will be given if plans change.

From what I've read it depends on how fast the snow caps melt. It usually opens up mid may, so lets keep our fingers crossed. If not there's still 2 more months before the meet, we can always change the trail.

Here's some pictures of when I went to Caribou Creek a couple years ago when my truck was stuck. My truck use to be so clean lol.

I edited for now.

I will look into some other trails and possibly change it tomorrow. Still going to be 2wd friendly so everyone can tag along.
Same times/dates

Feel free to post up more ideas

Added yall. I will do research tonight, feeling lazy today.

Would anyone want to go back to Slaughterhouse and actually attempt the trail? Shouldn't be that hard for 2wds as long as it is dry.

Not going this time.
Unable to go on Saturday, unless I take vacation time.
Already have my time scheduled for the last week of June, the first
couple days of July.
Besides, after this past weekends fiasco, I'm not sure I'm willing to go again.

Why is that Keith? Not like you had your truck out there, had to chop up the ice to get traction on the hills, or help each other winch out.

A clusterfuck is all part of the off roading game.

----------

This seems like a fun trail. Trying to keep the 2wds capable but not boring for 4x4s
http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=103

or

Sevenmile which is currently open.

yep thats a fact.

if you dont get stuck or even almost stuck... then youre not doing it right.
