I did make the trip up to slaughterhouse, albeit late(stupid daylight savings) I even put on my chains and drove up about 1/4 of the way before stopping at a large meadow, I did see 2 ford rangers, though they were not part of the meet. I also saw KCHahn's 2wd truck up on pavement (assuming he decided to not attempt it in his 2wd) I did take a couple pictures and will upload them shortly. I honestly didn't have too much trouble driving to where I did, though I am sure that if I had attempted to go too much farther I would have been more stuck than me by myself would have been able to cope with. I left around 4:30. Honestly it was still a fun, though I wish I had a motor with more torque, truck kept wanting to stall out with the chains+1000ib of sand in the bed.

Sorry guys we werre there so late the trail took a lot longer than we expected we kept running into issues with other trucksthe snow is extremely deep and on the way back up the mountain was basically ice so we had took a long time to get back up
other than that it was an awesome time. I'm not even back to foco yet

Finally rolled in at about 12:40AM!
Folks concerned, since I didn't answer my cell phone.
Figured I/we were in a location that had NO cell coverage.
Showed them the photos I did get.
Plus part of a video. Couldn't believe what we were up against. I'll work on m photos, maybe video, sometime later in the day on Monday.

I tried to make a run at the first short hill section, and stopped pretty quickly!!
Almost gave up and came home then! So, I planted mine on the side of the road.
Illegally, according to the police warning. Nothing said I could NOT park were I did, so.....

Anyway...An interesting time had. Not sure if I'm gonna try that again!!
