PNW meet: possible meet place
I gave it some thought as to a great location for an up coming meet sometime in July after the 9th. Talked to Mike about possibly getting a group site up at Rasar State Park for an overnight campout (pray for no rain) and could check out open weekends for reservations. The place is great for large number of people, just need to bring alot of food, firewood and alot to talk about. Did this gathering with another club and had an awesome time. The location is about 60 miles east on hwy 20, quite a ways from centralia but large enough to accommodate enough of the group and then some. I'll find out the cost and post it.
Any other ideas for locations, I'll be gone to the aircraft carrier from june 20 to july 7 makin more overtime.

Re: PNW meet: possible meet place
I'll be home later in the month of July...I'm hopefully picking up my GMC....but I'd be down if it works out schedule wise.

And we are PNWers, what do we care of this rain you speak of? lol

Hoped to plan it out far enough to get as many people in on it. I'll see about getting the ph# tomorrow for the park to get it rolling.

well, kinda used to it after 16 years on Whidbey, sometimes don't really notice it. Just need a bigger campfire.

BigMac I hear ya on the wife and camping, haha. I'm new on here guys. I'm in Seattle, Fremont area, I would be down for a good camping trip. I'm going this weekend over on the pennisula. I'll let you know how chilly it is.
