TPMS and smog check in Cali...
Any californians know if having the TPMS LIGHT ON will cause the smog check in CALIFORNIA TO AUTOMATICALLY FAIL BECAUSE OF THAT LIGHT TO COME ON?

Just wondering because california is uptight on everything.... i might consider new wheels and screw the sensors...

4states will fail if light on. Have a Mazda3 it passed smog check with light on in CA. DMV reasoning to fail... incorrect tire pressure affects fuel economy, better reason saftey.

Check the Spare.. sometimes it has TPMS and if pressure is low, will trigger idiot light on dash...

You'll be fine. A check engine light will cause you to fail, but a TPMS light isn't an issue.
