The Pope is in the house! Location will be the Valley area or White Mountains but I am down to travel to new places. So did anyone actually meet up? I literally just found this forum, I think it would be awesome to get a convoy together in the NEAR future! F-Ranger 3.0/2wd/auto Xlt, 5/2 Doetsch Tech lift system, 3" body lift/Performance accessories, MB 15" wheels, 31"x10.5" BFG's, K&N intake system, SuperChip and more to list later...

Mine is broken right now, needs a new clutch, but I drive through San Tan every week on my way to Apache Junction/east Mesa area from Marana to see my wife.

Ha! That's funny, I just moved to San Tan Valley. Any cool off-roading out here? Went to box canyon last week but couldn't get through due to country thunder. I wish we could get a meet going somewhere...

I'm in Mesa today, drove through yesterday afternoon. Will be going home tomorrow.
Not sure about places around you to go off road. Many years ago we used to have a lot of fun at Sugar Loaf Mountain off the Beeline Highway. There have been a lot of off road areas closed in recent years due to to many drivers leaving trails and tearing up the land.
Here is video i found on You Tube.

I heard about that place, I think I may give it a shot one of these weekends. What kind of set up do you have on your Ranger?

So far it is all stock. I did install larger tires. Right now it is down, needs a new clutch. Have the parts, no time to do the work.

I know how that goes what kind of plans do you have for the ranger? You want to lift it or leave it stock?

I am going to leave it as is. I assume it is stock height but it sits higher than most of the other stock Rangers I see in the area. It does not need emission testing so some future mods will be to add a little power. Have been looking at some tuner boxes just want to make sure the one purchased gives me the most "bang for the buck", not sure how much of an increase is possible with a 2.5L engine.

There is nothing wrong with that! You have yourself a sharp lookin little pickup dude! There are quite a few things you can do to those 2.5's, I'm sure you're gonna have some fun with it!

When I get it running we can set up a meet in your area.

Hey, I'm all for that! We need to get something going for sure. I looked through the forums and there has actually been quite a few successful meets but nothing for Az which is strange because there are so many Rangers here! If we don't get something going soon, we may have to wait till fall or find a parking garage somewhere due to the steadily rising temperatures.
