Re: Orange County Rangers
Hey have any of you installed body lift kits before ? I want to get a 3 in lift, and read that it's pretty simple to do on your own with help

I have a 2" kit I've yet to install, some day soon perhaps. I been dragging my feet with it due to other things in life taking priority mostly. CoronaRanger has a 3" and him and a bunch of others can give you a lot of the pros and cons of having one.

Nice, I was thinking about going to Holy Jim last night but too far from me, didn't want to waste gas. I went up into the hills by my house instead.
And yeah if you need help with your body lift I'm down, I still have to install mine, I have a propane torch and all I need is a T-55 for the bed and an electric impact.

Oh nice, I actually worked 2 seasons for the ducks, that's how I got the mats so cheap. Original price was like 50 bucks.
My work is just a mile south of the stadium in Santa Ana
And thanks! They don't have much traction in the rain, I have no problems spinning them just by stomping the gas, and it's a little too easy to whip the ass around (learned that the hard way)

Nice, I live South of Columbus, OH.. We have tons of mud here, just not many designated trails.

Yeah not too many mud spots out here. I don't like getting mine muddy often. I love getting it dirty but I love seeing it clean even more.

My little guy doesn't do well in snow.. Or rain.. Or dirt.. Or mud.. Or dirt.. It does pretty well on pavement. Half bald street tires for the win I guess.. Bought the truck from an old man.. I want to make it into the best daily driver. So probably level it out to make 31" BF All terrains fit. I'm copying Garfield lol

When I got mine back in 2012 I had 4 mis-matched old street tires. Still beat the shit out of the poor thing haha

Haha. Getting out of the damn driveway is a pain because it's a manual, incline, and I have to nose out to make sure nothing's coming to make sure I don't stop. If I have to stop I have a super duper fun time spinning the tires around until I can find traction. One time I just backed up a ways and got a running start. Lol turning radius ftw lol

Actually I had two sets of these on my truck and they were great, they did pretty well in the snow. As far as wet street traction they were great but spinning them on dirt shredded them. Then I upgraded to the LT crew haha.

I did have a set of BFG all terrains. Those were my favorite.

I've heard good things about BF Goodrich Allterrains, my buddy who is running them on his f150.. Garfield.. And a bunch of others.. Unless I can find something for cheaper, and as nice as a on road casual off-road combo, I like the BF Goodrich's a lot..

yeah I've had my BL since 05. I take it easy on trails and that's prob help alot

^in my opinion BFG AT best tires. Obviously not in nasty mud but little mud still rocks and in all other pavemnt. since the new at 2 are out you can probably find the previous generation cheap.
