-if you are takeing your truck out on the dunes you`ll need:

•a flag ($ ??) MUST HAVE
•OHV offroad tags ($15) MUST HAVE
•fire extinguisher ($10-??) MYBE JUST DON`T GET CAUGHT WITH OUT IT

-Fire Extinguisher. All vehicles, except motorcycles and multi-wheeled motorized vehicles, must be equipped with a functional dry chemical type fire extinguisher of at least two pounds capacity that is approved by the Underwriters Laboratories or other acceptable testing agency;

-Flag. All vehicles must display a highly visible red or orange flag when operating on the sand. The flag must:
•Be displayed at a height of at least nine feet from the ground level when the vehicle is under power; and
•Have one side that is at least eight inches wide, and be at least twelve inches long;

I'm headed down friday night.. leaving seattle around 5... is everyone else going earlier than that? Also Tim do you know if the fire extinguisher just has to be on the truck or in the cab or are there rules on that?

I have no reason to actually mount it in the cab so I was just gonna secure it in the bed... I definitely think we should do a July meet in addition to the August meet in OR... mike how far out do you know your schedule?

Well it's a set 4 days on 4 days off so if your thinking July I have the 21-24 which is weds-sat and 29-1 thurs-sun are the weekends I have atleast one of days of the weekend off if that makes sences

How would a guy get a flag and the permit? I got a 102" antenna, just don't have a flag.

permit has to be purchased at an outdoor store (or convenience store I think) in OR... the flag you can get at any off-road/atv store. There are a few in Florence so you can get it all there as long as you have a way to mount the flag (might be able to utilize the antenna mount).... you coming?!
