I vote Barstow. Never been to a meet but I'm finally free from sports this summer so I'll have some time on my hands to go out for the day

Re: Super serious CA meet thread. June 2014
3.5 hours for me. so im thinking itll be 2 full tanks of gas by the time im said and done. just worried about the truck breaking so far from home. gonna be taking it easy, main things im not trusting is the steering rack and the clutch. everything else has been pretty solid.

There's a possibility yea. I think Barstow would be easier for me (not to be selfish for anyone) but just because I still live under my parents roof so they can still dictate where I can and can't go

Learn how to cook hoe. I can cook circles around anybody in my family. Then again, nobody in my family can cook worth a shit, so I had to teach myself if I wanted to eat better stuff than fast food and pasta.

I think it's hilarious as shit that everyone flakes out if it's more than a 2 hour drive. I've made the 3.5 hour drive 3 times now, and make DAMN sure I have the time off from work, and why? Because these meets are fucking worth it! So I think the SoCal guys need to at least make it to pismo (not including you tim. You're dependable). But then we can get all of the og people to go to Tahoe and anyone else who won't flake.
