Default ORW COIL-OVER CONVERSION KIT 98-Present RANGER 4WD/EDGE

The next generation of bolt on suspension for your Ford Ranger 1998-present 4wd/edge. This suspension system eliminates the factory torsion bars, converting the front suspension to an adjustable FOX coil over system. The kit features our custom FOX coil over designed and engineered to fit the Ford Ranger, to increase ride performance and control, on and off road. This kit is available for a leveling kit adjustable 0-2" of lift and for the lifted applications. Designed to go as far as you can go with the factory suspension without installing a Long Travel system. Limited by whether you have a lift kit or stock suspension, CV axles and control arm travel. The major benefit to installing coil-overs is the adjustability and the difference in the performance on road and off road.This kit is 100% bolt on except for the shock tower gussets that require some welding. Complete kit includes:
Coil-over conversion brackets
All Grade 8 Hardware
FOX 2.0 emulsion coil-over's w/ springs
Spanner wrenches
and installation instructions

In about six months when i get the money saved up was wondering if this kit works with the superlift 3-4 inch lift for rangers.

it does. just let them know you have the superlift when you order them because they have to give you longer shocks

Im not very knowledgable with the conversion so if i did do this would the 4wd work still?

Just a little overview on this kit for those of you who are not familiar with it-

This kit deletes your torsion bars completely, due to the fact that many of you who wheel tend to get hung up on these they can be a big PITA, not to mention once they are cranked the ride goes to shi*. That being said, in order to maintain the function of the T-bars without actually having them anymore, it uses coils instead, which are adjustable, and give you a MUCH better ride and handle better. You are able to adjust the coils to a little over what you would be able to get out of your torsion bars, but without adding stress to the system, this is what they are designed to do. Everything works just as it did before, 4wd and everything. I did this kit when I did my custom lift, and it is a night and day difference. Well worth the money if you can spend it.

$650 for the kit plus shipping, which is all you need, includes brackets, support gussests, shocks and springs.

Don't try and piece a kit together, not worth the amount of time you would put into it, this kit is strong, name brand quality stuff, and custom welded brackets.

I have friends at the local metal fab shop that said they could make the same brackets from the same material for free so if I can save $175 for the brackets I'd prefer to.
