We have a little track out here, and there's very few rules. Here's a quick vid..

yeah it's a good time out there.
Not sure if I'll be able to get this one ready in time for this Saturday, slim chance, fingers crossed. I found some used heads, not sure if they're good yet.

heheheheh, yeah, that was early last season... there were no classes at that point.. It was pretty much "run what ya brung".

That Jaguar was actually a track rental... aka, a "Hulabeater".. That one survived it's first time out, and was back for seconds by the time I filmed that. Did you notice that he got rear ended under a yellow flag, and then the guy in the truck passed him?

There was very few rules out there last season, and they didn't enforce them too much either... It was great!

They added a few more rules for the new season, but not too much.
The new season starts next month, and I plan to be there with this one

heheheh, sorry bro, it ain't for trade..
With the back taxes and paperwork, you wouldn't want it anyways.. It would be too expensive to put this one back on the road..
It's perfect for the track.
..ok, not "perfect".. yet.. but it's a good start.

I didn't get the heads done in time for last weekend, but I hope to hear it run tomorrow...

There's a 'test and tune' this Sunday, and the new season starts next month.

I didn't get to run last weekend, but I got some good vids from the backstretch.... it was rough back there... lot's of DNFs.

The best air is at 0:15, but watch the #36 too.. he was making good time time thru that section.. #36 looks like he's gonna be tough to beat this year.

haha, yeah it IS!

I finally got out there last night. ... had trouble getting the truck ready before, and barely made it yesterday, but it was a great time.
A couple long stories there.. I'll spare you all that..

I started out slow, had trouble with a few things (my own fault), but finally got it together and picked up the pace.

We got T-Boned in the first heat race. I almost got out of it, but another truck got in on too, and they finally spun me around.
In my second heat, we won!

We started the main event right beside pole position.
The leader was slowly getting away, but when I looked back, we were both getting away from everyone else.

The main is 10 laps.
On about the fourth lap, something went wrong. I was overheating, smoking, and runnin like shii... so I pulled out.

I was praying that I didn't crack the heads.
There's another long story there, but I think it's all good.
The first thing I checked was the dipstick, and I was glad to see that there's no water in there.

It turned out that my main battery ground was almost cut in half. In all the rush, I didn't secure it properly, and it rubbed on the alternator.

All in all, I got some work to do, but it's fixable. I think I might have somethin for these guys next month!
