five never attempted to build a ported box but ive built quit a few sealed boxes and like anything it takes practice to get good at building them.

go to just about any good sized audio not best buy or any thing like that. most of the bigger audio shops that do big systems will have a spl mic and program. or see if there are any meca sponsored events around.

the kicker k series 5x7s were a little over 100 bucks and then my amp on them was almost 200 plus the wiring kit. but the are loud as hell. well worth the money. imo
