So I changed up the exhaust on my truck. It had a leak in the cat so to start with I just removed the cat and muffler. That had a nice growl in high rpms but in between it had a lot of rasp, and was really loud. So yesterday I went to O'Reilly and picked up a Thrush welded muffler. A much smoother tone, the growl can't be heard from inside the truck anymore not sure if you can hear it outside. But most importantly the rasp was completely eliminated. It sounds pretty good to me.
Here's the video.
