I've bottomed out my ranger going over bumps but I don't think I even got any air, but it has little tires on 14" rims and no lift...

now i have a 4wd and all i can say is what a bunch of unwanted weight! its such a joke to have 4wd here in cali. never will use it! i have used it twice. once when test driving it with my brother! and another to see what it is like to climb a hill with 4wd. same dam thing as a 2wd! but i guess its cool to have just in case we get a ice age and i might need to put it in 4wd lol

but i use my new ranger in 2wd all the time!!













she's a 2wd at heart

Used to be lifted, but now low and slow. Flipped hangers and cut coils up front for 2/2 drop. Soon to be 3/4, 17x8, 235/45/17 up front, 245/45/17 in the rear 300K+ miles

Really is accurate. I want 4wd just because, but in reality like you said its a joke out here. Most on the forum wouldn't understand, so just take our word for it. SoCal is 2wd territory, you have to go out of your way to find a place where some good tires and L/S wont be enough.
