Default Pics of the '99 ranger

Decided to post some pics of my little brother's 1999 ranger which used to be mine until I got my 2006 ranger. It is still under my name as the registered owner so I decided to take a few pics. Enjoy!

its got pretty good potential. crank the tbars and throw some 32 mud tires on 15 inch wheels on there and it would be a sweet truck

LOL.

There are no t-bars to crank....

Nice little truck. Those XL's are great trucks to start a build up on. My little bro's is an XL and boy and boy did I hate it when the truck was mine and those damn plywood board seats sure do suck.

Yep those seats are original. Well that's the way I got them when I got this truck back in '05. I find these seats are easier to clean than the cloth ones I have in my '06. The current miles are around 118,000.

I asked my little brother if he wanted to do anything to it. He said I could do some stuff to it which may be a while before anything happens since I'm working on my ranger. Plans for it would be to repaint it (not sure what color), put bigger tires and new wheels, possibly replace and upgrade the plastic grill and bumpers, and to fix the radiator which is the first thing we are going to do.

I think putting in buckets, with a custom built center console would give it a non "fleet" vehicle look. It is quite clean and a good starting point.

Yeah that's true. I don't want it to look too much like a fleet truck.

Yeah I'm still thinking what's going to happen since I'm working on my '06. The good thing is I'm going to have time, I just need to wait for the money. What I love about the XL's is that it gives you more ideas as to what to do with it.

So far I replaced the front plastic grill with a chrome one and replaced the side view mirrors with the folding type ones found on the XLT versions. I have also fixed and replaced the radiator. I will post pics of the grill and the mirrors soon when the weather gets better (it rained a little today and is very cold! Lol!)
