Just picked up a 2011 Sport 4x4 from a dealership in Holyoke Mass and for some reason they decided to pinstripe all of their certified pre-owned vehicles. Only the ones with the full ford warranty received this "special treatment." The only reason I left the pin stripes on is because the white and red match the Sport 4x4 decal perfectly. They are just cheap stickers that are already starting to peel at the edges of the doors and tailgate, but don't actually look too bad. So, long story short, keep the pinstripes or peel them off?

I've always associated cheap sticker pin striping with sketchy used car dealerships and tacky old cars, and I think it makes the truck appear lower than it is because of the downward slant of the stripes. Those are the only two reasons I have for getting rid of them, aside from possible damage to the paint after they're baked on. Other than that I think it sets the truck apart a little.

Well if you keep them on and then take them off later down the road you'll have a darker color where the stripe was and you'll still have a stripe lol
