if you don't mind me asking, what kind of noises were you hearing? I decided to drive around today without my music blaring and I was kinda sketched out cause it sounds like im driving with a flat, but they arent. was wondering what the noises were, but i never spent too much time and had to be somewhere so i just kept on truckin.

it'll growl and make noises and you could feel it in the steering wheel. On his LF failure, it would have been growling when making a left hand turn, when weight is off the bearing. He didn't jack the truck up when he looked at it the night before. It would have been pretty obvious that bearing went tits up because the wheel will just 'flop' down. Give it a wiggle and.....

[YT]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Mr3H0Pw4o4[/YT]

This is at ride height....and the bearing was still 'usable'. Meaning, it was on it's way out very soon. Mine growled on the way home then I drove it into the shop to have a look see. Noticed that camber immediately.

Oh....and that "what it's supposed to look like" picture.....look at that camber....
