Letting the GF drive
Here is a vid of the GF, for some reason she could not get over the log in 2wd...
And the Ranger pulling the F-150

Some crazy looking steep hills there, looks like a fun time. How did the GF like being behind the wheel for a change?
BTW, have any more plans for the truck?

She loved it actually, I let her drive more that day on the trails where you can haul ass a little more.
Plans are neverending, its the funding and resources huolding me back. I want to SAS it, air lockers front and back, get a roof rack for a spare as well as recovery gear, custom bumpers (in welding class currently to get that taken care of) with winch, rock sliders. Those are the main things I want to do, the there are little things here and there. All of this will probably end up to me caging the cab.

haha, wow that's quite the to-do list, would definitely be a sweet trail rig.
How comfortable do you feel doing all the custom mechanical work & trial and error that comes with doing the SAS?

Right now...not comfortable at all, but this project will take many years so will have plenty of time to figure everything out...hopefully.
Any additions to your truck recently??

Ahh alright. I didn't remember you being THAT much of a gearhead for SAS work. Have you considered the Dixon Bros kit?
My truck? I've changed the oil, and put in more gas that's about it lately. The urge to lift still continues to grow though...

Nope not much of a gearhead, just have goals. I considered the DBR kit, but I feel that if I really want to go speeding through the desert I would rather get a toy. And plus I like the shell and being able to sleep back there and still being able to use it as a truck and if I went LT I would more than likely end up with a bed cage.

Good to see you using the new truck, Justin. I'll be living in So. Cal. again soon for vet school so we'll have to get some trips planned. Thanks for the pictures, they give me a good idea of the conditions of Lancaster right now.

Yep pretty much either beat the crap out of it on trails or using it for trips to the mountains. I asked in your other thread as well, but where is Western?? I will have to have some sort of toy when we go out though, otherwise no way in hell I will be able to keep up with ya!

Western is in Pomona, almost around the corner (sort of) from CP Pomona.
I won't be going too fast if I can just get it out and running right. I have to get used to driving it again . . . it's been that long, haha.
