You're right, I'm wrong. Being a 2000 model, are my only two options to either take it to the dealer or a speedo calibrator ?

You might be right. I had forgotten you switched gears. I was going off you still having your original ones

Well I did swap in a cluster with tach from an explorer. I set everything at 45 mph but now, below 45 it reads fast and over 45, it reads slow. In the words of my wife, "I'm confuzzled"

Dumb Dumb Question...
It's apparent I have a 2WD, how would I lift mine?
Spindles or whatever? I know I could probably google it or even read this entire thread but this would be easier Thx.
-Ranger_Up-

...
Also, I dont want or need a HUGE lift, just maybe 1-2 inches maybe or even 3 (??)

Swapping clusters isnt going to change anything. You still need to compensate for the tires

You can get spindles for 3" up front and the shackles for the rear which will lift the rear 2"

I swapped the clusters many moons ago but never compared it with GPS. I have done a mileage test and at 60mph actual speed I am traveling a mile a minute. A quick test just confirmed my odometer is correct

If your speedometer is off then your odometer is as well.
I actually travel 3300 miles when it rolls 3000 miles

Where there is a will, there is a way. I think there is a diode on the back of the cluster that regulates the speedo. If not, I'm tearing into the GEM tonite
