Alrite well i know some of you guys won't like this but i like how it turned out.

Before: I used 20% cling on window tint for tinting my marker lights. Not the best, i wen't through the carwash and there was water and what not behind the tint and i didn't like how it had ot go over the lil plastic piece that sticks out behind the light.


After: I nightshaded/clearcoated my marker lights to get rid of the tint. I went real dark so they blended w/ the truck. They don't look red at night, and at night when the lights are on you an barley tell theres nightshade on the lens... so you can pretty much only see the stars in the day time. i think it turned out sweet.

I am going to be lifting it, I have the BL and shakels sitting in my living room. Im just waiting for the time and my buddy to help me.
And for the valence i'm prolly going to try to figure out how to fab up a simple tube type bumper or something. I jus gotta do one thing at a time and right now not running the valence is keepin me from rubbing..

the nightshade is sweet and it turned out good but i too am not a big fan of stars but its not my truck

Like i said, i was jus tryin to do somethin diff w/o having to buy clear corners like everyone else. I was goin for that blacked out look and this was a cheap alteritive.

Tre, I can't afford KC's or anything close to them. I spent about ~$60 on ALL my aftermarket lights. Im a college kid and i'm jus trying to get it to look as good as i can w/o all the expense... I wish i could make my truck look like yours w/ all the name brand stuff but i'll never have the money or hookups to be able to do that..

You've just gotta keep your eyes peeled. Like I've said before about my truck. It's happened over the course of two and a half years. Didn't happen overnight. Keep checking the yards, and check CL often. That's how I came across 99% of my deals.

I do keep a check on that stuff but that kinda stuff in my area is hard to come by. And ya my truck is only a few months old, Im sure once i start runnin out of stuff then i'll start the upgrading of diff parts. Just intill then my $15 lights and spray paint will have to do. lol

I don't believe that on the hard to come by. You just have to keep an eye out. I used to check CL 3-4 times a day looking for parts and deals, even ways to buy things to make money. Just keep looking. Deals will find you if you try to find them.
