That bit isnt done yet, im gonig to plate over that bit, i didnt want to have it under the steel as a precaution, being it is my woods truck, more, protected that way.

I had it on the old bed as well, I was planning on going straight up but the new lightboxes kinda got in the way, so to prevent it melting the lights, I cut it and had it welded in at a 45* so it jet out right there.
I really have to paint it black so it blends in better, just to lazy to go get the right temp paint.

I know, but one step at a time, if i can find an even trade on like craigslist or something, id be great. Only paid 600 for those rims and tires brand new with centercaps and lugnuts, with a brand new spare.

Re: Flatbed Time! (Non-Ranger Content! Alot of it)
Right now for the spare im putting tie downs on the side most pieces of wood and just strap it down to the bed.
In the future ill be getting a bit more steel and welding it in so it goes from about midway on the headache rack to the back of the bed, and in the middle of that will be a nice sized threaded rod to bolt it onto.

Re: Flatbed Time! (Non-Ranger Content! Alot of it)
