Just curious, why does everyone want the level II hooks so bad? I don't understand the all the excitement over them on this forum.

brackets just for those hooks or the other stock hooks also?

x2... i don't get it either. my tow hooks are stock and there just like boot shaped kinda.. i dunno how to explain them but they work fine for me :/
LII hooks might be cool to brag about if you have a real LII but IMO its almost like buying a regular Jeep Unlimited and buying a Rubicon sticker and slapping it on there..

^^ Not even close. Rubi's are still made in production.
The real L2's were made for 2 years, making them really rare rangers.

i guess you make a good point but still you get what i'm trying to say? do you really get any performance advantage out of those hooks over the regular hooks or is it just for the name sake?

Rarity man, rarity. There's no "real" gain from them other than looks, and bragging rights. They're hard to come by and worth a lot of money. I wouldn't doubt if billy sells those for a good $150.

Hmmm... I like your fab work and I would like tow hooks in the front for when my ass gets stuck at the dunes. Maybe I'll eventually get a set and see what you can do to make them fit with my body lift so I don't have to cut my valence.
