Wife likes to cruise craigslist for good deals. She found one the other day. She makes arraignments for me to pick it up.

I knew when she gave me the directions it was gonna be interesting. Basic directions with no street names or anything. Just turn at 4 way stop tuen and blue house etc.

So I am out in the country. On some dirt/mud road with 4" of snow in spots. I come to a fork in the road I can go left or right. Im looking at the paper and all of a sudden truck starts sliding off the road. I ended up in the ditch. I almost got out but I had the front wheels turned the wrong way so it went toward the right more.

Chevy Silverado had to pull me out. Didnt think to get pictures till Scott said something.

Sine you have and edge, it shouldn't be hard to find you a front diff Myke. Just find u a wrecked 4X4 Edge and yank one off (I don't know what's all involved in 4X4 swap)

swap isnt to bad. easiest is get a manual t-case that way you skip wiring. next you need 4x4 trans or change output shaft, tailshaft housing, new driveshaft front and rear, front diff, cv's, wheel bearings, knuckles, and weld on a back support to the frame for the diff.

pretty much thats it. really not hard at all

and make sure your front gearing matches the rear. But that should go without saying.
