i finally got a 40 series flowmaster and dumped it under the bed. i have a 2008 3.0 V6 stock everything else. im thinking of putting the pipes back on because its pretty loud in the cab. when i speed up my seat vibrates. sort of cool though.

but yeah. tell me what you think.

That is the first thing I did, cut the stock muffler out and welded in a flowmaster. Not very loud but more of a deep throat sound, I like it. IMO put the pipes back on.

yeah it has the nice throaty sound i like. but its really loud in the cab which is my only problem. i think im going to be reinstalling the pipes soon. but im still thinking about it.

If you don't like it now with a turndown because it's loud inside, you'd absolutely hate it without a turndown! It's sooo much louder inside without a turndown.
