Failed emblem mod, sort of
So I wanted to try the color change emblem mod, so after reading up on a few threads I thought I had it figured out.
I don't have a hairdryer or heatgun so I figured the oven would work just fine. Maybe I'm impatient......  Then I thought, screw it, I'll paint it black.  Well hey, that wasn't so bad. So, now it's on the truck   [Insert artsy night shot]

Paint the letters of Ford in the same blue as your truck. Would look really cool with just the blue letters against the all black grill, would really pop out

Screw all that. I'll stick with what I have EDIT: I rechecked the threads I originally used, one uses the steps you posted, the other shows that you can sand the blue paint off and paint whatever color you want. I was using the second one since it was the easiest.
