Default Snow in Virginia Beach

Well, we got about 10 inches of snow here in VA Beach. We havent had this much in about 10 years so it was pretty cool having a 3 day weekend due to snow. Heres a few pics of the Ranger covered up and the neighborhoods around me...

Ranger covered up!

Shoveling snow off the truck to take a spin...

The neighbor's beautiful Stang and old Ford Truck!

4 lane neighborhood road turned to ice..

Part of the front of my High School Alma Matter... Ocean Lakes High School

Had some fun at the little league fields parking lot!

Donuts in snow and dirt!

All dirtied up from snow, dirt, and salt!

Overall had a blast! Old Dominion University opens up at 11am tomorrow so hopefully the ice is mostly gone on the highways and downtown city streets!

Looks like you had a good time! We were supposed to get 4 - 8 here over the weekend, but it turned out to be just an inch or so and some ice.

they said only about 4-8 also but we ended up getting 10-12 and the streets were about 2 inches of ice before they worked on them today. The ice was close to level with some of the curbs on the streets!

Hows your truck hold up in that snow? I imagine it must be a challenge considering it appears to be a 2WD with stock tires.

I has no trouble with it believe it or not! It has stock tires on the front but there are some better Wrangler Radials on the back. Long story on why the front and back are different in terms of Wrangler RT and Wrangler Radials but the Radials that are on the back have better tread, softer tread, and they handle rain, snow, and ice like a champ. Went through 12 inches of snow and sloid 2 inch ice and never had a second thought of issues. This 2wd with the 3.0 and 4.10 gears is a beast. Getting stuck has yet to be a problem for me! Having a blast with it too! lol

One of the previous owners could have took them off if it had them, the ford step bars are really the only ones i like for my truck.

Ah, so your not the first owner. Not sure why somone would want them off. They look great on the truck! The stock ford nerf bars are really the only ones that should be put on the truck. I think my window tag that i still have says that it was $300 or so for the nerf bars. Wonder if they can still be ordered from ford direct?
