Re: Prerunner Enthusiast's Thread
For 100 bucks you can't go wrong with a china bar. Mine is a spot flood combo and it is plenty bright and the beam shoots farther than my brights.

Would love it if more people posted output shots. Even though we all know they are so hard to read off of you can still get an idea.

Always liked those since way back when they were first introduced. Not a fan of the bluer color of the lights but the "euro"(?) beam is nice since it is wider. No experience with the spot versions.
That is a Screen shot I just took from a video 2+ years old in the passenger seat of my friend Kyler's truck. He ran 5 of them on the roof and the output was very very nice. He hadn't aimed them yet hence being so low.

Your idea of plenty bright and mine are probably two different things though.

True, but I can guarantee that my light bar is far more brighter than the lights he currently has on his bumper.

You don't need the "more" part, and that isn't saying much haha my cell phone LED is brighter then stock Hella's haha

I will when I get them built. My friend has some other stuff he needs to build first for some customers, and I have some other stuff that takes priority so it will be about 2 months until the building starts.

Just typical tube bumpers, or something else?

I would like to go with this design up front.
For the back I'm not so sure. I would love to get a bumper built that can support a spare, kind of like what Morgan was trying to do. But I don't know how that will work out. I really like one that my buddy just built for a dodge so I might just ask him to do something similar for mine. It's kind of just a tube version of the stock bumper. Im open to ideas for rear designs if you have any suggestions.
And here's a few photos of the bumpers my friend built for the dodge.
